My bracket is a bust!! I do not think anyone in the country has a perfect bracket left, there have been far to many upsets to predict any of this perfectly. Games as usual have come down to the last heave shot, sometimes 2 or 3 times in a game as they continue into overtime. I guess that is why they call it March Madness!!
Another reason that they may call it March Madness is because of the unusual things that many people might do. I read a article on a statistic yesterday that surprised me but did not shock me (as it is March Madness) did you know that more men plan for tournament week to be the week they spend on the couch recovering from a vasectomy than any other week in the year? Surprising but not shocking.
Team and game specific drinking games created by each school...surprising that there is that much thought that goes into the extremely easy task of getting drunk, but shocking...nope. I guess after the initial luster of creating a bracket is gone and you are left with a list of teams that have been scratched off and defeated you have to come up with some way to make your viewing experience a little more enjoyable.
Personally I am going to stick with the American classic of a beer in one hand, the remote in the other screaming at the TV and celebrating the victories. This year's bracket may be over and I might not have won anything but I must say that I have never had as much fun watching big teams get upset game after game, and giving the young and underdog schools a chance to show the world they belong on this stage. Keep it up fella's, keep busting brackets!!

A creative spin...
I have always wanted to write a film, and for the past few months among other things I have been brainstorming some ideas. I have settled on a genre and have begun writing but I am now at a point where I do not know where I want the story to go. I am considering writing divergent scripts at this point where the main charecter chooses good in one, and evil in another. I am not sure if this is how screenwriters do things or if they prehaps figure it all out as they go. For me I like writing and not knowing where I am going, it is like watching the movie in my head for the first time instead of having it blocked out. I feel like it gives me more freedom to explore ideas if I do not know how the whole thing will play out. Although I am more entertained by this form of writing I do not find it to be the most productive form.
My delayed new years resolution is to have a working copy of the script finished so that I can tweak it and share it with friends and aquaintences to get it out into the world and hope that someone picks it up either indepentently or for a big budget film, only time will tell. I feel I have seen enough movies to make a real run at this and tell a story that is both entertaining and relavent. It is a large goal I know but if you don't start somewhere you will never get anywhere.
